Tech Cert Prep is a free educational platform providing study materials, practice questions, and interactive tools to help users prepare for IT certification exams, including CompTIA and Microsoft certifications. The Service includes:

• Study concept cards with explanations, examples, and diagrams
• Domain-organized study materials aligned with official exam objectives
• Practice quiz mode with questions drawn from the study concepts
• Progress tracking and bookmarking features
• Optional account registration for cross-device progress synchronization

The Service is supported by Google AdSense advertising. All core features are available at no cost and require no subscription or payment.

3. User Accounts

Creating an account is entirely optional. You may use most features of Tech Cert Prep without registering. If you choose to create an account:

• You must provide a valid email address and create a password.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on Tech Cert Prep — including but not limited to text, explanations, diagrams, study materials, code, graphics, and the site structure — is the property of Tech Cert Prep and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the study materials on this site for your own personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute site content for commercial purposes
• Scrape or systematically download site content via automated means
• Modify, create derivative works, or rebrand the content without written permission
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices

5. Educational Disclaimer

Tech Cert Prep is an independent study resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CompTIA, Microsoft, or any other certification body. All certification names, trademarks, and logos are the property of their respective owners.

Study materials are provided for educational purposes to help users prepare for certification exams. We do not guarantee exam success. Actual exam content, question formats, and passing scores are determined solely by the respective certification bodies, which may update their exams at any time.

6. Third-Party Services

Tech Cert Prep uses the following third-party services:

• Google AdSense: Delivers advertisements on the site. Google may use cookies to show ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out via Google's ad settings.
• Supabase: Provides optional user authentication and cloud-based progress storage for registered users.
• Vercel Analytics: Provides anonymous usage analytics to help us improve the site.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Tech Cert Prep to:

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any study material. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tech Cert Prep and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or exam failure, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
